Dr. Anthony Rice Jr. is our Primary Care Physician
Dr. Rice did his undergraduate studies at Canisius College in Buffalo, where he studied Bio-Chemistry. He attended the University of Buffalo Medical School, and graduated in 1998. Dr. Rice did his residency at Womack Army Medical Center located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was then stationed at Fort Hood, Texas where he worked as a Primary Care Physician. Dr. Rice served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Field Physician. He was honorably discharged in December of 2003. Many of his patients call him "Doc," which is how most Army soldiers referred to him. For the past 13 years, he has worked in both Urgent Care and as a Primary Care Physician. He also worked for three years at the VA Medical Center where he worked performing exams for veterans applying for disability benefits. Doctor Rice is married. He has three children, Michael, Isobelle, and Sarah. He also has a golden retriever named Sugar who used to go with him on house calls. Three cats allow Dr. Rice to live in their home.
