About Dr. Rice
Dr. Rice did his undergraduate studies at Canisius College in Buffalo, where he studied Bio-Chemistry. He attended the University of Buffalo Medical School, and graduated in 1998. Dr. Rice did his residency at Womack Army Medical Center located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was then stationed at Fort Hood, Texas where he worked as a Primary Care Physician. Dr. Rice served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Field Physician in 2003. He was honorably discharged in December of 2003. Many of his patients call him "Doc," which is how most Army soldiers referred to him.
For the past 13 years, he has worked in both Urgent Care and as a Primary Care Physician. He also worked for three years at the VA Medical Center where he worked performing exams for veterans applying for disability benefits. Doctor Rice is married to his high school sweetheart. He has three children. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, exploring caves, and swimming. His golden retriever named Sugar enjoys hiking with him.
